Remembering Dr. King

Yesterday was Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Dr. King created an amazing legacy. Clearly, he was a remarkable man with even more remarkable insight into human nature.  You might be surprised to know that I think of Dr. King often–especially when I listen to the evening news. I think about his messages of nonviolence and wonder if we’ll ever learn the lessons he tried to teach us so many years ago.  While Dr. King certainly said it more eloquently than I’ll ever be able to, I think he was trying to teach us to treat others the way we would like to be treated ourselves.

A few years ago, I got a chance to visit the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site.  Here are a few pictures…
