Take a good look at this photo? Do you see what I see? LIFE! Underneath the piles of snow, there is actual life waiting. Daffodils are peaking through the soil already. Oh spring, you can’t come soon enough.
Speaking of flowers, does anyone know how to get rid of flies after they’ve laid eggs in your houseplants? I potted some tulip bulbs in the fall. When the temperatures dropped, I brought the pots inside so the bulbs wouldn’t rot from the wet and cold and they actually began to bloom. Shortly there after, little flies started appearing around the house. They must have settled in the dirt when the pots were outside. Now that my tulips are starting to come up, I don’t want to put the pots back outside. The temps are still too cold for them to survive. Any thoughts?
