New routePosted: March 11, 2010
Took a new route on my run today. Ran across the Wrightsville bridge after swinging by the post office. Mapped my running route back to the house for a total of 4.5 miles. My 53 minute workout included a cool 10 minute walking warm-up. Stretching is definitely on my list of to do’s. Not sure if I’ll run this route often. Heavy trucks use the bridge and when they drive by they kick up a ton of dust. Anyhow, happy I made it out today. The news is reporting a change in the weather. Some pretty severe thunderstorms and heavy rain are headed our way. I don’t mind running in a little light rain. In fact, I even prefer it to using the treadmill. I guess I’ll do what I have to do. I also have some kind of weird allergy thing going on. I’ve never had allergies before but I don’t know what else could be causing me to sneeze so much. I might try something over the counter to see if it helps.
