Like lead

My legs felt like lead on my run yesterday.  But I didn’t care.  It was so beautiful outside.  I have some serious spring fever, and it’s making me anxious for spring racing season.  I’d love to run another half this year.  Yesterday’s run: 3.32 mi., 32:15.  Definitely not racing distance…at least I’m consistent even if it is consistently slow.

In other news….I’ll be crossing off another item on my bucket list later this year when I see Madonna in concert at the Verizon Center in DC.  I tried and failed once before to get tickets to see her in concert.  This time round, failure was not an option.  Really, the fate of ’80s pop stars these days is a little questionable. Tickets went on sale at 10am. I was logged into my Ticketmaster account by 9:45. My co-workers even clapped and cheered for me after I got the tickets.  It was a happy day.
